Imagine your character
Start with a name, a background, and a reason to come to Gobaith. If you're new to roleplay, make it a human — they're easiest to play. Think about what positive and negative traits your character would have, and how those might affect them in their daily life.

Learn about the world
Before you hop in for the first time, read about the world → . You don't have to know the darkest secrets of Gobaith's history by heart, but you should always stay within the confines of the established lore, especially when it comes to your chosen race.

Don't get overwhelmed
Gobaith Reborn is a remake of an old-school roleplaying game. You will be unfamiliar with a lot of its mechanics, and the game won't hold your hand. Get other players to teach you, talk to NPCs, or read library books. If none of that works, ask a question in Discord — the community is happy to help.
The story is what matters.
Give other characters room to respond. Keep what you know as a player separate from what your character knows. Act within the confines of the world's lore. Most importantly, treat others with respect and have fun together!
